Happy Monday my friend!
As you know, I'm a big fan of easy, but kinda over top sweets.
I love anything chocolate, no bake, or anything that gives me the opportunity to stick potato chips into cookies.
While that's all fun and stuff, I thought I'd bring you something a little more sophisticated this week and I think you're really, really...no really...going to love it.
It's a Honey Almond Cake and she's a real stunner!
This cake is moist and delicious and completely gluten free and refined sugar free - made with almond flour, browned butter, honey, and fresh orange. After baking, the cake is topped with an amazing honey orange syrup and freshly toasted almonds. It's a symphony of delicate floral flavors and warm nuttiness coming at all angles. Simply divine.
This cake is sweet enough for an elegant dessert or even a delicious flourless coffee cake at brunch.
It's absolutely perfect for the holidays and looks G O R G E O U S on a food table.
