Although we've had our tree and holiday decorations up for a few weeks, now that Thanksgiving has passed we can officially shout it from the rooftops:
CHRISTMAS IS COMING! 🎄
I've got some real Buddy the Elf energy surging through my veins and, speaking of, I can't wait to pack the next four weeks with all the Christmas movies and music my family can handle. Ben was in deep shock when he learned I know every lyric to every one of Amy Grant's Christmas albums.
Sorry Mariah, AG is the true queen of Christmas!
Anyway, as I said, the kids and I decorated the tree a few weeks ago and we oohed and awed over each ornament, reminiscing about when we got certain ones or what they mean to the family. The ones we were particularly delighted to pull out of the bin? The Homemade Cinnamon Ornaments we made several years ago which still have their cozy, cinnamon-y scent and everything!
If you're looking for a way to kick off and celebrate the holiday season, I invite you to make these easy, 2 ingredient - YES, TWO! - cinnamon ornaments with your loved ones. Mamas: these are great for Grandparents to either make with the grandkids, OR receive them to put on their tree.
We decorated ours with puff paint, but you could use markers or even craft paint. All the details are inside the post linked below.
