September Baking Challenge Preview

​ ​ ​ Hi reader, September is almost here! My team & I are excited to show you a preview of the September Sally's Baking Challenge recipe before anyone else sees it. The full recipe will be published on September 1st and since you're part of the Sally's Baking Challenge email list, we'll email you when the recipe is live. Ok, Drumroll Please... We're making Homemade Pretzel Knots in September. They're like regular soft pretzels, but tied in a tight knot. Think of garlic knots! If you're not into this recipe, there will be an alternate recipe you can try instead. ​ Here are the ingredients you need: water instant or active-dry yeast salt granulated sugar unsalted butter all-purpose flour or bread flour baking soda optional toppings: coarse sea salt, cinnamon, grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian Seasoning (or a blend of dried oregano, dried basil, dried rosemary, dried parsley, and dried thyme) Stay tuned for details on the September Sally's Baking Challenge once I publish the full recipe on September 1st.
