Naan…chewy & fluffy!

Welcome back to Indian Week here at RecipeTin Eats! Today, I've got a recipe that many of you have been ask for years (me included πŸ˜‚) - NAAN.

So many naan recipes are nothing more than a basic flatbread recipe. But this one? Fluffy, bubbly and CHEWY, just like you get at Indian restaurants. It's so incredible, you'd swear it's just been pulled from a tandoor!

Bonus: It's mind-bogglingly easy. Yes, really! - Nagi x (And Dozer in spirit recovering from yet another emergency visit to the vet this evening - see update below! PS He's totally fine, he's just in trouble.)

Extra: Cabbage Carrot Thoran-style Indian Salad

As part of Indian week, I'm also sharing a side salad to complete your feast! This is something completely different to anything you've had before - an Indian cabbage carrot salad. Think: Slaw. With a spiced coconut sambal based on Thoran dry-style vegetable curries.

It's ridiculously good. I am literally obsessed with it!

Life of Dozer

Yet another late night emergency visit to the vet this evening - thanks to Dozer and his penchant for literally eating ANYTHING!!!!

Today, it was the compost for the new veg/herb garden currently being built. Dozer was scoffing down the compost like it was his own personal all-you-can-eat buffet. He finally trotted inside with his face and legs literally covered in black soil, stinking of compost.

So off we dashed to the emergency vet to get his stomach emptied - because compost can be very harmful, even fatal, to dogs.

So there we were at the vet, to induce vomiting, but all the cheeky bugger was interested in was the treat jar!!! The nerve of this dog!!

Anyway, the vet induced vomiting, and she later came out to have a laugh about how much came out of him. Apparently, SO MUCH compost came out of him, the nurse had trouble lifting up the Chuck Up Bucket! He's such a pig πŸ˜‚

Well, my credit card took a serious beating but I'm happy to report he's back home and well (and hungry πŸ™„).

And so that, my friends, is the reason why this email is going out so late tonight. Blame HIM
