Hi there ooseims.archieves@blogger.com --
Welcome to Day 1 of Becoming a Better Baker!
When it comes to brownies, I love a thick, fudgy brownie. The kind you find at a good bakery shop.
When I first began baking, I relied on all the cake mixes and boxed brownies to help me in the kitchen.
Too often though, when you try baking brownies from a box you run into all kinds of issues:
- Dry brownies
- Dense and heavy brownies
- Brownies lacking rich, chocolate flavor
- Cake-like brownies instead of chewy, tender brownies
- Brownies lacking the shiny, crackly topping
How to Make Thick & Fudgy Brownies (Bakery Style) from Scratch
With years of trial and error, I have created a "Core Recipe" for brownies.
Seriously, this is the best one-bowl brownie recipe you'll ever want!
Here are the secrets:
- Using melted butter in my brownies produces a chewy, fudgy texture.
- Extra eggs, a modest amount of flour, and baking powder all help my brownie recipe provide the perfect structure for your perfect brownie.
Brownies come in many forms: you can frost them, sprinkle with sugar, bake them in mini muffin pans, or dunk them in chocolate and sprinkles.
But one thing remains, the delicious base recipe used to create the most decadent brownie.
And that's where today's secret recipe begins:
