Five Refreshing Summer Beverages
I don't know about you, but I'm still in full summer mode! We have at least 6 weeks left to enjoy our favorite libations poolside, so I'm taking full advantage. If you're already thinking about back-to-school routines, don't worry, I have something for you coming soon. But if you're still savoring the sun like I am, here are a few recipes to quench your thirst for the rest of the season.
Aguas Frescas
When melons are at their peak, this is the recipe I make on repeat. It's light, refreshing, and the perfect way to use up ripe summer fruit. Just pour it over lots of ice and enjoy.

Summer Rose Sangria
Fresh fruit, crisp rosΓ©, and a splash of citrus make this the kind of pitcher cocktail that's perfect for warm evenings and backyard gatherings. Make it ahead of time so all the flavors have a chance to mingle before serving.
|
Peruvian Chica Morada
Made with purple corn, pineapple, cinnamon, and cloves, Chicha Morada is fruity, lightly spiced, and incredibly refreshing. It's one of my favorite non-alcoholic drinks for hot summer days.

Honey Deuce Cocktail
A refreshing mix of vodka, lemonade, raspberry liqueur, and melon balls. It's the signature cocktail of the US Open and just the thing to sip on this tournament season.
|
Creamy Mango Agua Fresca
Sweet ripe mangoes, coconut milk, and a touch of lime come together in this creamy agua fresca that's rich, refreshing, and perfect for cooling off on a hot afternoon.
