| Hey, Hoophead! | Since the start of the season, February 14 has been circled on the college hoops calendar, and not exactly for the roses and chocolates. For most fans, the real attraction is a reunion that comes with a little extra spice. MiLaysia Fulwiley is set to face South Carolina for the first time since making her move to SEC rival LSU. And as the date gets closer, surprisingly, the hype is playing up the love angle. Not without making things a little messy, though. |

| | | It's official…the Gamecocks run the SEC. South Carolina sits alone at the top after dismantling Tennessee. The Bruins continue to look like a true national title contender, escaping Michigan again behind Lauren Betts, who tied her season high with 16 rebounds and earned a well-deserved shoutout. On Dec. 4, Duke was 3–6. Now, the Blue Devils are 18–6 and sitting atop the ACC. That turnaround says it all. And once again, they put a stamp on it with a dominant win, leading by as many as 60. Questions around TCU aren't going away. The Horned Frogs own just two ranked wins, and while losses to Ohio State and Texas Tech are understandable, the defeats to Utah and Colorado raised real concerns. With Baylor and West Virginia up next, those feel like must-win games. Aside from TCU, Alabama was the only other ranked team to stumble, falling in a back-and-forth battle. Head coach Kristy Curry pointed to the difference-maker: giving up 17 offensive rebounds.
