I know it's fully about the Super Bowl today, so let's get that out of the way: enjoy the dips, the chili, the cookies, the apps galore! Oh, and the game. Let's not forget the game! Beyond that, far more importantly in our neck of the woods: February is birthday month for both my sister and me and our adorable niece, and there's Valentine's day tucked in there. It's going to be pink treats galore (read CAKE) and with that I'm diving into my long-awaited cake decorating hobby. I'll have updates on that for those (very few!!) who are interested. Here's a taste for how I feel about it all:
Need I say more?
So, I'll be back this week with recipes that no doubt were inspired by the moment captured above. Meanwhile: marinated chicken! Please make this best-in-class recipe! The reasons are many: tenderness, juiciness, flavor in a humble skinless, boneless chicken breast.
This chicken is also known as: Shish Tawook. Scroll down for the menu, which includes the condiments like Pickled Onions and Garlic Sauce (doesn't it all sound mouthwatering?!).
Our Valentine's Day SALE is still going (thank you for your orders!). Shop HEART15 to save on a lovely selection of items, including sweet treats like Baklawa, Ma'amoul, and Chocolate Dates.
Seriously one of the simplest, greatest condiments you can keep on hand. They level up a pita wrap filled with marinated chicken or anything else. Or just alongside on the plate. It's that tang, that sour, that red onion goodness. Ready in 30 minutes.
You can buy it, yes, You can also make it fresh and your batch parlays into fantastic garlic toast, creamy dipping sauce, pita wrap spread, you name it. This stuff is pure white gold!
Grab a couple of heart cutters and a jar of strawberry or raspberry jam. Plus: Rose Water! Add a splash to the jam and level these beautiful cookies up a notch with that gentle flavor. It pairs so perfectly with red berry. Gift some of these to your habibis and watch them glow.
