Super Bowl is almost here, and I've already started planning the food.
Not just because of the game.
But because this year feels extra special.
Bad Bunny is headlining the halftime show, and as a Latina, that just makes me proud in a way that's hard to explain. Seeing someone from my culture on a stage that big feels like such a win for all of us.
So if we're gathering to watch, we're doing it right.
And for me, that always means something shareable, a little messy, and straight out of the oven.
The Crispiest Baked Buffalo Wings
These are the kind of wings you put in the middle of the table and everyone keeps grabbing without even thinking.
Saucy fingers. Extra napkins. Someone is asking for the recipe before halftime even starts.
They're simple and perfect for feeding a crowd.
You can bake them or air fry them, toss them in sauce, and they're ready fast. Just good food while the game and the music play in the background.
I love lighter meals most days, but weekends like this are about people, music, and food in the center of the table. Watching the game. Waiting for halftime. Singing along a little too loud. Moments like that deserve wings. Happy Super Bowl Day, and happy cooking! Xx
The classic Buffalo wing was born in Buffalo, NY in 1964 when Teressa Bellissimo made fried chicken wings with hot sauce for her son and his friends. And the idea just took off from there.
