I live for Valentine’s Day weekend! It’s my second favorite holiday, probably thanks to the insane amount of hearts, red, pink and cute decor because I’m forever 17 inside my head. Since having kids, it’s also a super fun little holiday to celebrate with them. We’re having a little party with friends and making homemade pizzas. My house is currently decked out in every heart-shaped banner you can find. We’ve made the candy salad. I’m here for it! I’m also sharing my little valentine iced latte below - I’ve been making it all week. I think the berry of it all has me thinking spring. And! Some of my favorite videos to watch are “expensive but worth it” videos - or “not worth it” videos. I LOVE THIS. Especially because I don’t accept free products and love to share all my favorites! I see the same things talked about on social media over and over again and have been influenced myself, so I thought it would be fun to share 12 items I think are worth it - and 12 that are definitely NOT worth it. Expensive Things I Think Are Worth ItI purchased all of these myself - some may seem overhyped but here’s why I love them! Breville Barista Touch Espresso Machine. Starting off strong with a very pricey one! I love this so much, I don’t want to live without it. I use it every day, sometimes twice. Guests love it. I have probably had starbucks less than 10 times in the last 6 months thanks to this! Oura Ring. This has truly saved my sleep. For years I’ve talked about how I hate sleep. I just would rather be reading, working, doing anything than sleep. I think it’s a waste of time and I know that’s horrible, especially as I get older. This has made me an active participant in seeing how much sleep I get - and it influences me to change it! Save The Duck Puffer Coats. I have a few different versions of this coat (long, short and long vests!) and it is by far my favorite brand of puffer coats. They are SO warm but at the same time very lightweight. They are super comfortable and not stiff (I find the aritzia super puff to be SO stiff). The warmth just can’t be beat! This time of year they also have crazy sales! Bose QuietComfort Headphones. These are my favorite headphones, ever. They are SO incredibly comfortable. I love them and can wear them for long periods of time. Sleep Crown Pillow. This is incredible. I have two, I’ve even bought one for Max because he loves it so much. I’ve gifted so many of them - my mom also loves it. I use it to sleep on like a regular pillow and not over my head. Veronica Beard Sneakers. Over the last four years, I’ve bought four pairs of these and I love them so much. They are incredibly comfortable, super easy to slip on, up until recently have had a pretty modern look and can be dressed up or down. I can walk in them for hours - easily my most worn shoe. Higher Dose Pemf Go Mat. We also have the sauna blanket and while I love that, the pemf mat is something I can use on the fly and boy do I. I use this daily and have done so for probably three years now. Whether it’s after a workout or at night before bed - it has been great. Elkay Filtered Water Bottle Filler. We put one of these in our mudroom when building and it was my non-negotiable. The builder thought I was crazy and that it would look horrible. It is by far our favorite thing - and everyone else’s too! We all are constantly filling up our water bottles and this makes it so easy, plus we do it when we leave the house. Obsessed...
