New Year's Eve marked a historic first as America250 helped launch the Semiquincentennial with a surprise second celebration. Just after midnight, the Times Square Ball was relit in red, white, and blue and rose above illuminated "2026" numerals, officially welcoming the anniversary year. The moment, created in partnership with One Times Square and the Times Square Alliance, signaled the start of a year-long national celebration, with America250 returning to Times Square on July 3, 2026, for a first-ever Fourth of July Ball Drop. |

| The Rose Parade America250 participated in the 137th Rose Parade® with a float titled "Soaring Onward Together for 250 Years", honoring the nation's Semiquincentennial.
