Bengals, Hamilton County Reach Deal

Hamilton County and the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed on the framework for a new lease that would keep the team at Paycor Stadium.

The deal was reached just four days before the team's June 30 deadline to extend its current lease.

Under the new terms, Hamilton County will cover 75% of stadium renovation costs, down from 88% in the previous lease. Both parties also plan to seek additional state funding.

Hamilton County would contribute $350 million, while the Bengals would pay $120 million. The $470 million total is significantly less than the $830 million renovation plan proposed in April.

Ohio Marine Sentenced to 7 Years in Japan

A U.S. Marine from Ohio was sentenced to seven years in prison by a Japanese court for sexually assaulting a woman on Okinawa's main island.

Lance Cpl. Jamel Clayton, 22, was found guilty of strangling and assaulting a woman in Yomitan village in May 2024.

Okinawa is home to more than half of the 54,000 U.S. military members stationed in Japan. It was the site of the bloodiest battle in the Pacific Theater of World War II and remained under U.S. occupation until 1972.

List: Cities with the Most Expensive Homes

The Village of Indian Hill tops Ohio's list of most expensive cities for homes, with a typical home value of $1,586,732.

Ranked by a May 2025 home value index, Indian Hill leads Ohio, followed by four Northeast Ohio cities in the top five: Hunting Valley, Bentleyville, Kirtland Hills, and Gates Mills.

The Columbus area had the most cities in the top 30, including Marble Cliff, Galena, Upper Arlington, and New Albany, all ranking among Ohio's 15 most expensive. See the full list here.
