Mantis shrimp is hugely popular in China and to be honest I'm not sure why. I find that it's a lot messier to eat than the normal prawns because of its thick shell (and there isn't even that much meat), and it's not as flavourful. I would just stick with the normal prawns, preferably deshelled, please!
