| Hi reader, I've been feeling all sorts of nostalgic these past few weeks now that it's officially my cookbook pub week. That's right, you'll get The Ambitious Kitchen Cookbook in your hands starting TOMORROW! I stumbled upon a blog post from 2012 (yes, 12 years ago), which was just 1 year after I started Ambitious Kitchen. Running AK full-time for over a decade now has been wild, scary, beautiful, and so much more. I wouldn't be here today without your readership and support and wanted to share a little piece of nostalgia on the eve of pub day: "I decided that I would never live my life waiting for the what-ifs; for those unexpected moments to sneak up on me. Of course I'm not perfect; I just want to experience what life has to offer. I know what I'm capable of, where my passion lies, and how hard I have to work to get there. Maybe the odds are against me, but I'd rather try to do something and fail than always wonder about what-ifs. It never crossed my mind that I'd ever be dreaming of being a chef, or a cookbook author! But these were choices, and I'm choosing to design my life."
Ambitious Kitchen started as a dream, a big what-if. And as it continued to grow it became about inspiring others to go for their big what-if dreams in the kitchen and in their life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are what makes Ambitious Kitchen so magical! |
