It was a seriously delicious 2023. And one of my favorite things to do is to take a look back at what all of your favorites were from the year!
Out of all of our new recipes over the last year, these are the 10 that you made and loved the most - the recipes you raved about in the comments saying that you and your family loved, shared on Instagram stories with all the happy emojis, and emailed us to say OMG THIS WAS SO GOOD.
#1: Roasted Peanut Kale Crunch Salad
This was the most-loved recipe all year long! Crunchy kale and cabbage, fresh herbs and fresno peppers, chopped peanuts, and a perfect roasted peanut vinaigrette that tucks into all the salad nooks and crannies.
I cannot even tell you the number of times these spicy little wontons showed up in your Instagram stories this year. Shiitake mushrooms and chicken wontons swim in a brothy flavor-filled sauce and get finished with a swirl of sesame oil and chili crisp on top. Yum!
Weeknight winner alert! Amazingly creamy, saucy chickpea curry served over rice with a dollop of chili crisp and a side of cucumber salad. Ready in 20 minutes!
Oh these are so good. Seasoned sweet potato wedges and chicken meatballs or rotisserie chicken all piled onto a plate with a little puddle of punchy green avocado mojo sauce.
#6: Red Curry Chicken Stir Fry with Spicy Cashew Sauce
Another Instagram star! Caramelized red curry chicken sits next to a bed of hot, fluffy rice and steamed broccoli and then totally sauced up with the BEST spicy cashew sauce.
#7: Grilled Chicken with Pepperoncini Garlic Butter
This is such a fun one! Grilled marinated chicken, a quick tomato cucumber salad, tangy bits of feta, and a zippy pepperoncini garlic butter sauce poured over the whole thing.
Juicy, quick-marinated, Ginger Peanut Chicken on a bed of THE MOST LUSH coconut jasmine rice, with speckles of crunchy peanuts, bright fresh cilantro, and lime squeezes.
These butter chicken meatballs are covered in a rich and mildly spiced tomato gravy that is made luxurious with just a little bit of butter and cream. Serious weeknight magic!
Just so you don't think it's ONLY us gushing on and on about delicious things…
"I'm completely sold on this recipe! It was a bit daunting at first but I'm so glad I gave it a try! It has now become a staple in our dinner rotation. I don't think I'll ever go back to store bought biscuits again π"
"HOLY COW. Don't even second guess it. Don't even hem and haw. Get your bottom in your car, buy the ingredients, and celebrate that you're a winner at life. This recipe is for champions."
"Had all the ingredients to make the soup except kale, so I substituted frozen broccoli and it was very good. Had a lot left over and I froze it. Reheated beautifully for a second meal on a cold, busy December evening. Thanks for the great recipe!"
