September Baking List 🍎

September is almost here!

I'm always a little sad to say goodbye to summer, but this year especially, am really looking forward to all fall has in store. September always seems to bring a fresh start and I'm excited about this sweet chapter ahead.

Over the next few weeks we welcome the start of football season (aka snack season), the beginning of fall, apple picking (and apple baking!), and back-to-school routines.

Here are 9 recipes to try this month:

Apple Muffins with Cinnamon Sugar Topping

Featuring tons of apple flavor and a cinnamon-sugar crunch on top, these apple muffins are a great grab-and-go breakfast, after school snack, or sweet treat any time of day.

Baked French Toast

Sweeten your weekend with this cozy baked French toast casserole recipe. It's delicious with a cup of coffee and is always a hit!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Football is back (on Thursday!). Add Buffalo chicken dip to your game day menu. This dip features three different layers of flavors including chicken mixed with your favorite buffalo sauce (I always go for Frank's RedHot!), cream cheese, ranch dressing and, of course, lots of cheese!

Slow Cooker Spicy Beef Queso Dip

Need another classic dip to make this football season? Give my classic crockpot queso recipe a try! This super cheesy dip is made with taco-seasoned ground beef and Rotel.

Jewish Apple Cake

This wonderfully dense and moist Jewish apple cake is studded with tons of cinnamon-sugar coated apples. It's a traditional dessert for Rosh Hashanah which begins on the evening of September 15th.

Apple Hand Pies

Celebrate the start of fall on September 23rd with adorable apple hand pies - the perfect fall dessert for any occasion! They're just like apple pie but so much simpler to make.

Homemade Apple Butter

Slather spiced apple butter on bread or biscuits, spread on top of pancakes or waffles, stir it into your oatmeal, or simply eat it with a spoon. Your kitchen will smell amazing while this cooks!

Crock Pot Mac and Cheese

Rich and creamy crock pot mac and cheese is an easy, super cheesy macaroni and cheese recipe made right in the slow cooker. It's great for a busy weeknight dinner!

Cashew Chicken

This homemade cashew chicken is incredibly easy, made in one pan, and is way better than takeout. My family LOVES this quick dinner recipe, especially on school nights!

What are you looking forward to making in September? πŸ‚
