Xinjiang Cumin Lamb - on trend and authentic!


A cumin flavoured lamb dish might sound totally un-Chinese, but it's actually authentic and it's very on-trend so you can feel very with-the-times if you make this! Plus - I'm going to call it - this will be the best new (quick) dinner you'll make this year. Something quite different to the usual stir fries yet you don't even need to visit an Asian store.

On another note - well, notes:

  • Big thank you for all the lovely messages about receiving the Book of the Year Award! I'm just so humbled by it, thinking of all the incredible talent in the literary space, to think that my cookbook would be recognised. Astonishing really - especially given it is apparently the first cookbook to receive that award!
  • RecipeTin Meals message - I received a beautiful message from a recipient of one of our meals. I usually can't share messages I receive because of confidentiality reasons, but I was given the OK for this one. You can watch it here on Instagram or Facebook. Messages like this keep me and my team motivated to keep doing what we do to the best of our abilities.

Life of Dozer

No longer a stone's throw from beautiful Bayview dog beach but I still take Dozer back on weekends. Can't deprive him of his swimming time - even in the middle of winter!
