Hello, June! π
This week, we welcome June - and along with it, longer days, more relaxed schedules, the official start of summer, and more time together.
The kids are finished with their school year and we're all looking forward to family BBQs, celebrating Father's Day, and lots of no-bake treats.
Here are 9 recipes to try in June:
Copycat Krispy Kreme Doughnuts |
This Friday, June 2nd, (the first Friday in June) is National Donut Day! Skip the donut shop and make your own donuts at home with my recipe for Copycat Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Peanut Butter Cookies |
Celebrate National Peanut Butter Cookie Day on June 12th with these Easy Peanut Butter Cookies or these Peanut Butter Cup Cookies.
Homemade Funfetti Cupcakes |
June 13th is Cupcake Lover's Day! You don't have to tell me twice to whip up a batch of homemade cupcakes, like these Funfetti Cupcakes (from scratch).
Sticky Buns |
Made completely from scratch with a make-ahead option, these Sticky Buns are a wonderful choice for holiday brunches (Father's Day!), weekend breakfasts, or an extra-special dessert.
Fresh Blueberry Pie |
Serve this fabulous Blueberry Pie with vanilla ice cream for the perfect Father's Day dessert on June 18th. Made with a homemade butter pie crust, fresh (or frozen) blueberries, and a touch of lemon and cinnamon, this pie is totally delicious and comes together more easily than you might think.
Ice Cream Sandwich Cake |
Nothing says "First Day of Summer" quite like a homemade Ice Cream Cake! Whip up this fun treat to welcome summer on June 21st.
Pigs in a Blanket |
Pigs in a Blanket are such a classic party appetizer or snack! They're always a hit with kids and adults, and an easy addition to any summertime gathering.
Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches |
My entire family loves when I make these Philly Cheesesteaks for dinner! Tender ribeye steak with sautΓ©ed onions and peppers is tossed in melty provolone cheese and cradled in a hoagie roll. Sandwich utopia!
Bread and Butter Pickles |
Delightfully crisp, sweet, and tangy, these Refrigerator Bread and Butter Pickles come together quickly and easily. No canning pots, hot water baths, or fancy tools are required for this recipe!
What's on your baking list this month?
