πŸŽ‰ Weekly Update January 29th, 2023 πŸŽ‰

Hey there reader!

Well, it's just about time to put January 2023 in the books! How was it for you? Did you stick with your goals? If you did, then that's awesome! But don't worry if you flounder a bit. It's a new month which means new goals! πŸ™Œ

I had a great start to 2023 - and, to be honest, much better than I had done in years. Want to know why? There are two reasons.

First, I took the time to truly plan. Not half-ass plan. I sat down with a calendar, pen and paper, and my computer.

I started with my business.

I took time to plan out my first quarter. Not the entire year like I've tried in the past - just one quarter. Then I put together my calendar with appointments and other non-negotiable things. Afterward, I put together a work schedule and planned days to batch my work.

This took me about three days, but it was so worth it because it took everything out of my head and organized it. Working from home can get overwhelming at times, creating hot zones for me. Tackling that first felt good.

The second thing that was super helpful was I hosted (and completed) the smoothie and mason jar salad challenge. I love the energy, motivation, and accountability that come with those challenges; you can expect those to happen at the beginning of every year from now on.

This week, I will take a few hours to plan out February. Not just work, but I will plan out our meals for the month. I've gotten away from monthly meal planning, but I know how helpful it can be, so my goal is to get back into it this month. This way, I can stock the freezer and also shop in bulk.

I'm also planning a personal challenge for February; I'm thinking of an exercise or water challenge. I'll let you know in the FB group, so make sure to join to stay in the know. Also, I'd love to hear about your challenges. Either hit reply, or feel free to post them in the FB group.
