As the cooler weather approaches we start to crave hearty, comforting meals and Italian cuisine has so many rustic, delicious stews to choose from. They fill the kitchen with mouth watering aromas while they simmer away and they're the perfect end to a day spent outdoors hiking, doing fall cleanup or spending the day browsing the last oudoor markets.
One of the best things about stews is they are one pot meals. They may need a bit of extra cooking time but most are very easy to prepare and all you need to do is toss together a salad and slice some crusty bread to have a complete dinner.
