Hi reader,
Although our house has seen less company this year than it normally does, I know we'll have visitors again before long!
Coming up with company-friendly meals hasn't always been easy, so I wanted to share with you one of our go-to company menus.
Before I do though, here are a few things I try to keep in mind when I'm meal planning for company:
- Simple is always best. Nothing crazy, nothing fancy and no trying new meals if at all possible.
- Have variety available for the picky eaters.
- Cook enough at dinner so there's plenty for leftovers for lunch.
- If company asks to help, say yes and give them a task!
When we lived a state away, my sister-in-law and her family were the ones that visited overnight most often, and the adults are grain-free and dairy-free. Fortunately we don't have any picky eaters!
Here's what our go-to meal plan looked like:I keep the same "simple" mantra for breakfast too, and alternated between oatmeal waffles and banana bread for breakfast. (Grain-free folks had eggs and leftover vegetables.)
Let me ask you - do you have a "good enough for company" meal plan? What does it look like when you're thinking of holiday meals? I'd love to hear what you make! Hit "reply" and share your ideas with me. I can't wait to read them! ♥
Blessings,
Tiffany
