When it comes to indulgent comfort foods, I don't know if anything beats Chicken Alfredo. I just can't say no to a big ol' plate of carby pasta drenched in an ultra-rich and creamy sauce and topped with juicy strips of seared chicken, can you? (That was a rhetorical question.) And now that I know how easy it is to make it at home, I have a feeling this is going to become my new favorite special occasion meal. And yes, sometimes just making it through to the end of the week is a special occasion in this house. ;)
This scrumptious and super easy pie crust recipe comes together in minutes and has just three ingredients: flour, butter, and water. You don't need any special tools to make it, just a little know-how. That's right. Contrary to popular belief, making pie dough from scratch isn't complicated. That's what relationships are for.
Peanut butter banana smoothies have been a favorite snack (or dessert) of mine since I was a teenager. I usually always have the ingredients on have on hand, they're ultra-creamy, just sweet enough to kill my sweet tooth, and filling enough to stand in for breakfast. Plus, they're INEXPENSIVE. There are a lot of ways you can modify this simple banana smoothie if you want to make it your own, so if you haven't tried this one yet, definitely put it on your list!
