Biological Monitoring for Chemical Exposures at Work 1 November 2022 Live online £365 per person Many jobs involve using chemicals which can harm your health if not properly handled.  Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH), employers are required to look for the risks to health from chemicals in the workplace.  Biological monitoring is a way of assessing chemical exposures by measuring a sample of urine, blood or breath. This workshop provides an overview of biological monitoring and how it can enhance the service that occupational hygiene and health professionals offer. There is also a practical, interactive learning element using relevant case studies to develop your learning.
