Avoid Soggy Backpacks This Back-to-School Season |
Even at one year old my daughter has very strong opinions about things: Raspberries are yummy! Get that stupid rubber turtle away from me! And ever since her early days of refusing bottles from me, she has had opinions about what she drinks from. All this is even more true of my three year old. Finding anything involved with feeding your kids that they will agree to use on an ongoing basis—plates, forks, cups—is tough (see the many super cool but untouched children's forks in my house). It's why I'm glad my colleague Emily Farris and the small humans at her house did our most recent review of kids' water bottles and I did not. Having a large collection of metal vessels clanging, spilling, and generally getting mistreated around my house for a couple weeks did not sound like research I wanted to engage in. But Emily's kids were up for the task and, just in time to start stashing them in backpacks for school, we have chosen some easy-to-use, easy-to-clean, and leak-proof bottles. Check out our top picks for kids from one to...who am I kidding, I drink from these bottles on a regular basis now. To read about what the kids did with these bottles and which ones didn't make the cut, click on through to read the whole review. |
