Dear ooseims.archieves@blogger.com
Today, I'm excited to share two recipes for making the petite yellow lentils known as moong dal. The first recipe, Moong Dal Tadka, employs the beloved Indian technique of blooming flavorful herbs and spices in hot oil to add loads of flavor to the final dish. The second recipe, Moong Dal Fry, cooks the lentils separately, then adds an aromatic sauté of tomatoes, onions, and spices for a rich and hearty curry.
While both recipes tend to look quite similar, the flavors and preparations are quite different. That's part of the allure of the pulse family: they are super versatile! Come along with me to the kitchen and learn two ways to use this beloved plant-based protein.
