Texas Medicaid Provider Input Sought for Cervical Cancer Survey

The Cancer Alliance of Texas (CAT) is conducting a cancer screening survey, and your expertise is needed. The survey, issued by the CAT Cervical Cancer Screening subgroup, asks questions about patient, provider, and system-level barriers related to cervical cancer screening, diagnostic procedures, and follow-up. Survey results will be used to identify opportunities to improve cervical cancer screening in Texas.

The survey takes about five minutes to complete. To start the survey, click this link (the same link can be used by multiple responders). Please respond by Friday, March 4, 2022

The work and dedication as Texas Medicaid providers is vital in the fight against cervical cancer. Your input will guide the work of the CAT Cervical Cancer Screening subgroup and ensure its focus aligns with your experience.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Melissa Varon at MSLopez1@mdanderson.org  and Susan Parker at Susan.Parker2@bcm.edu, co-chairs of the CAT Cervical Cancer Screening subgroup.

If you are interested in serving on CAT, please consider becoming a member. For more information and to download a membership application, visit CAT's webpage or email Amanda Ivarra at Amanda.Ivarra@dshs.texas.gov
