The deadline for nominations for the National Teaching Awards 2022 is Friday 4 March - don't miss the opportunity to celebrate the people and teams in your community who make a real difference. With 15 categories to choose from, the awards are open everyone working in schools and colleges – individuals, teams, teachers, leaders and support staff.
The awards are free to enter and there's only one month left until the nominations deadline - so make 2022 a year of celebration for your school or college.

The Teaching Awards Trust, who run the awards, recently held an hour long webinar with past winners, nominators and judges, full of helpful FAQs for entering.
Hear from previous winners
We've featured many past winners on the DfE Teaching Blog, who have shared how it felt to be recognised by the awards and celebrated by their school/college.
You can also follow the Teaching Award Trust's social media channels - Twitter, Facebook and Instagram - for stories from previous award winners.
Send a free thank you card to a colleague
Do you know someone who has been amazing this year, or someone who needs a boost at the end of a long week? Let them know they're appreciated by sending them a free thank you card - available to all staff working in UK schools and colleges. If you're feeling shy you can send a card anonymously!
We know there's always great work happening in schools and colleges and we love seeing it on social media. If you're sharing your successes or something that your pupils are really proud of from your school or college's social media channels, tag us so we can see it and share it too. You can find us by including @educationgovuk in your post.
