With 15 categories to choose from, the awards are open everyone working in schools and colleges – individuals, teams, teachers, leaders and support staff. The awards are free to enter and there's only one month left until the nominations deadline - so make 2022 a year of celebration for your school or college. You can also follow the Teaching Award Trust's social media channels - Twitter, Facebook and Instagram - for stories from previous award winners. Let them know they're appreciated by sending them a free thank you card - available to all staff working in UK schools and colleges. If you're feeling shy you can send a card anonymously! If you're sharing your successes or something that your pupils are really proud of from your school or college's social media channels, tag us so we can see it and share it too. You can find us by including @educationgovuk in your post. The Department for Education work in partnership with the Teaching Awards Trust to celebrate outstanding teachers and support staff, sponsoring 4 award categories: Outstanding New Teacher of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, FE Team of the Year and FE Lecturer of the Year.
