I am taking this opportunity to wish everyone who celebrates Chinese New Year; Gong Xi Fa Cai!

And hope that this year will be prosperous for you and I, in everything that we do.

Now back to my post : I have been wanting to make dulce de leche from scratch, that is cooking milk and sugar down to thick beautiful caramel colour, but that did not happen as I was worried of 'burning' the mix!
So this is the cheat option I opted for :).

Make a can or few cans at a time and just use what you need and keep the rest.
