Kahoot!

In case you missed it! The Census Bureau's Statistics in Schools program partnered with Kahoot!, an online educational game platform, and launched its first four games last month. Today, we've added three brand-new games to our collection of compelling kahoots. Take a fun break in between lessons and play our cool data-driven games with your students. They will help build a deeper understanding of both the Census Bureau and the data it collects.

Here are descriptions of our new Kahoot! games:
Census Challenge: How Well Do You Know U.S. People and Places? Test your knowledge of people and places across the United States with this informative SIS quiz. Take some time to learn about topics including populations such as veterans, people 65 and older, median household income, and more.
From Rollercoasters to Chocolate Bars: Learn About U.S. Businesses! Have you ever wondered how many amusement parks there are in the United States? What about candy and nut stores? Test your knowledge about U.S. businesses with this fun quiz!
Exploring American History With Census Bureau Data! Discover when the first census took place, how the once-a-decade population count relates to the U.S. Constitution, how our country's population changed from the first census to 2020, and more.

Explore the full collection on Kahoot! Academy for free and enjoy an engaging and meaningful learning experience. New to the platform? Check out how to play your first game here.
