22 and 23 February 2022

Under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, applicants are required to demonstrate acceptable risk from plant protection products to operators, resident, bystanders, and workers.

This workshop will be delivered over two morning sessions and aims to take participants through non-dietary exposure risk assessment for UK product authorisations, identifying the approaches that applicants need to follow to obtain product authorisation under Regulation 1107/2009.

Topics covered

The sessions will be a mixture of presentations and practical workshops and will be given by members of CRD's Regulatory Science Group directly involved in the registration process.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Operator exposure
  • Resident and bystander exposure
  • Worker exposure
  • Higher tier data
  • Exposure estimation for uses outside the 2014 EFSA Exposure Guidance
