Hi reader!
Happy December 1st — let the countdown to Christmas begin!
My kids are at really fun ages (8, 5, 3) where the holidays are completely magical to them. They race down the stairs each morning to turn on the Christmas tree lights, beg for hot chocolate after the smallest shiver, and their eyes light up when we talk about making the holiday projects and recipes I'm sharing below. 😍
If the past year is any indication, the next 24 days will absolutely fly by, so let's make the most of it with these cozy holiday projects and recipes!
What will you make first?
Fruit Christmas Tree |
Reader Cora says: "I made this with my daughters to serve at Christmas brunch. It was so easy, we had fun making it, and it was a HUGE hit! I think I'll be making it again for other holiday events."
#2 Soft & Chewy Gluten Free Sugar Cookies
Gluten Free Sugar Cookies |
Reader Daniele says: "These are THE BEST sugar cookies! My family prefers them over non-gfree versions. We have been making them for several years and everyone just loves them!"
Gluten Free Chex Mix |
Reader Sarah says: "I just recently had to start eating gluten free and was so sad I couldn't eat chex mix anymore, so this was a lifesaver! It was delicious and easy to make."
#4 Christmas Crunch

Reader Michelle says: "Insanely addictive and delicious. I brought 2 bags to family Christmas and they were gone in a flash. So easy, so delicious..."
#5 Gluten Free Ginger Molasses Cookies
GF Ginger Molasses Cookies |
Reader Lindsey says: "These are the absolute best molasses ginger cookies I have ever had! I tried a different recipe last year and when I baked them they spread like pancakes! These keep their form, they are soft inside and crispy on the outside! Flavor is perfect."
Easy Cinnamon Ornaments |
Reader Amber says: "We made these last weekend for our big family get together and I should have doubled the recipe! The kids, and several adults, loved them and spent a good amount of time decorating these. They're so pretty when done!"
Chocolate Crinkle Cookies |
Reader Jill says: "So, so good and so easy. Now having to make another batch because I'm pretty sure these have zero chance of lasting longer than tonight in my house!"
#8 Chocolate Peppermint Puppy Chow
Chocolate Peppermint Puppy Chow |
Reader Rebekah says: "So good! We used chocolate peppermint candy canes and it was a total hit. My middle kiddo is allergic to dairy and peanuts, so finding a puppy chow recipe she could actually have was awesome!"
#9 Gluten Free Peanut Butter Blossoms
GF Peanut Butter Blossoms |
Reader Natalie says: "Never comment on blogs but felt I had to – just made exactly as written and these are AMAZING!"
