January Drug Utilization Review Board Meeting Summary Available The Texas Drug Utilization Review Board met Friday, January 22, to make recommendations about clinical prior authorizations and drugs to be included on the Texas Medicaid Preferred Drug List. A summary of the meeting is available, along with a recording of this meeting's webcast and the list of preferred drug list recommendations. Other news: ●     HHSC renewed the Texas Medicaid Standing Order for Mosquito Repellent.  The standing order is for use with the mosquito repellent benefit for people enrolled in Medicaid, CHIP, and the Healthy Texas Women (HTW) Program.  The standing order is effective February 18. ●     An update to the Clinical Prior Authorization Assistance Chart is available. The chart is updated quarterly and identifies the clinical prior authorizations each MCO uses and how those relate to those used for traditional Medicaid claim processing. ●     Clinical Prior Authorization Updates for Cystic Fibrosis Agents ●     Preferred Drug List Criteria Exception for Macrolides Changes March 15
