As we wrap up February and flip the calendar to March, I can't help but get spring on the brain. My bulbs are bravely poking up through the soil (optimistic little things), and I've been dreaming up fresh spring recipes and looking ahead to Easter and Mother's Day.
Of course, I live in Idaho, where March likes to keep us humble with a surprise snowstorm just when we start feeling confident. So no, I'm not putting away the cozy comfort food quite yet. But even if winter isn't totally done with us, a new season always sparks my creativity in the kitchen. (If you have anything you'd like to see here- hit reply to this email and let me know!)
Below you'll find the recipes that made it onto my own kitchen table this week, and also The Good List, with some recent and long-time favorites!
Enjoy and eat something delicious this weekend!

On Our Table This Week
A peek at the real-life recipes we made at home this week, with links if you need ideas! Spoiler alert: It's not much since I was down and out with a cold for a few days ha.
Easy White Cake - I actually didn't make this, I needed more room in my freezer and realized I had a cake in there I had forgotten about! Yay for a fun cake in the middle of the week.
Lime-Cilantro Ranch Dressing - We had some really great quesadillas with smoked pork and pepper jack and I whipped up a batch of this dressing for dipping. So good I could drink it!
Homemade Oreos - made some cookies to share with friends at the beginning of the week (before I wasn't feeling well!) These are always an easy favorite.
The Good List is where I share the food, finds, and everyday favorites I'd tell you about if you were sitting at my kitchen counter!
Long-time favorite snack at our house. We buy the big bags from Costco, and always 2 at a time! These are super light and crispy and perfect for snacking. If you're planning on dipping, just go with something soft, or they'll break!
Have you noticed this trend? Floral denim seems to be everywhere these days. I grabbed these off a sale rack the other day and they're so cute and fun. (I thought the shape looked weird on the models but better in person!) I also got this pair from Gap and love them too!
If you love gourmand fragrances like I do (ie ones that smell like sweet treats), you'll love these. Heavy Cream is more mild and sweet, and Vanilla Skin has a little more perfume depth to it. I'll mix them together sometimes! These are body mists, so I wish the scent lasted a bit longer, but the smell is so good I don't mind. I also have the perfume version of the vanilla one and it's great.
I just finished replacing my outlet covers in my laundry room with these pretty brass ones and I think it's such a fun way to add something unique to a space. These ones are from Anthro, but they have lots of cute options on Amazon as well, and they're quick and easy to install!
I've had a cold this week with a nagging throat tickle. This has been my go-to throat-soother since college! Yes it's basically just candy, I'm aware. What can I say, I like what I like.
Some product links may be affiliate links, which simply means I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them. That said, nothing on The Good List is ever sponsored or part of a brand partnership - these are all things I buy myself and love enough to share with my friends (that's you!)
