The start of each new season is always an exciting time in the kitchen because of the seasonal produce and flavors to enjoy. One of my favorite ingredients to take advantage of this time of year is winter squash. Butternut, acorn, spaghetti squash, and pumpkin are at their best from September through November, and they make the perfect base ingredient for a cozy winter or fall recipe.
Of course, there are the classic recipes that we think of regarding these ingredients. Butternut Squash Soup, Roasted Winter Vegetables, and Pumpkin Pie may be a few staples that come to mind. But, there are so many ways to incorporate squash into your dinner that you may not have tried, and I've been sharing a lot of these less common, but equally delicious recipes on the blog. Whether you create a comforting soup, chili, or even a pasta dinner, you'll love the nutty, mildly sweet, and earthy flavors that squash offers. The soothing taste is sure to get you in the Autumn spirit, and there are so many ways to use it. Find your new go-to winter squash dinner recipe below!
