It’s a Friday from the Jersey shore! I came here all of my life growing up (some of you OG readers may even remember this from almost 20 years ago!!!) and wanted to bring the kids. It’s such a relatively short drive for us and easy to get to. The beaches are wide and pretty with so much space for the kids. So I packed up and we drove down Sunday to meet up with friends! Basically, our soulmate friends because everyone gets along so super well. Eddie couldn’t meet us until later in the week because of work, and when he did, we kept it a surprise from the kids. They were so excited and freaking out when he walked down to the beach. We have spent HOURS on the beach even though the weather was pure garbage for most of the week. It was very cold, rainy and super windy - generally miserable for everyone. I was afraid the sun would never come out. Sure enough, it did.
