Aurora police have arrested five Colombian nationals in connection with a burglary operation that targeted at least 21 homes, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

The suspects were arrested last week in a multi-agency raid of two homes. A search of the homes recovered hundreds of stolen items, including jewelry, weapons, and cash.

Police said the theft ring used sophisticated counter-surveillance measures, including Wi-Fi signal jamming technology, to bypass residential alarm systems.

Similar methods were used in multiple Douglas County burglaries last month, though it's unclear if the thefts are related. The five suspects are now in federal custody.

The Department of Homeland Security revoked 10 international students' visas at the University of Colorado (CU) and Colorado State University (CSU), the schools confirmed Wednesday.

CU said four F-1 visas were revoked at its Boulder and Colorado Springs campuses, while six visas were reportedly affected at CSU.

It's not clear why the visas were revoked or if the students were accused of any crimes. The schools have declined to identify the students to protect their privacy.

Last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced 300 student visa revocations, many reportedly linked to students involved in campus protests.

Researchers are developing a first-of-its-kind early detection test for ovarian cancer at the University of Colorado (CU) Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora.

AOA Diagnostics, a women-founded Denver-based lab, began work last year on a blood test for ovarian cancer, one of the deadliest cancers in women due to its lack of early screening tools.

To test the screening method, AOA partnered with CU Anschutz, allowing the lab to fast-track its research and analyze more than 500 patient blood samples.

CU says the results show promise, suggesting the blood test could "translate into lives saved." AOA plans to remain partnered with CU as it continues developing the tool.
