| Horses Rescued from Mud Pit Video footage shows the dramatic rescue of a mare and her foal after the animals became trapped in a deep mud pit in Heber-Overgaard. Two photographers capturing shots of wild horses found the trapped horses, and a group of seven volunteers spent an hour freeing the animals using a tow rope. Once pulled to dry land, the horses stood on their own. They were examined by veterinarians following the rescue. Recent heavy rains likely created the conditions that led the horses to become trapped. | Arrest Made in Tesla Dealer Fire Mesa police are investigating suspected arson and vandalism at a Tesla dealership after several vehicles were found damaged early Monday morning.
