On Sunday evening in Macon, former President Donald Trump addressed a large crowd, rallying support with a focus on border security, economic policies, and energy independence.

In an earlier statement, he criticized Harris, saying her "policies have allowed millions of illegal immigrants to cross our wide-open border."

Vice President Kamala Harris spoke on Saturday in Atlanta, saying it's "time to turn the page on a decade of Donald Trump," and faulted him for nominating judges that overturned Roe v. Wade.

Over 65,000 volunteers have mobilized across Georgia to support their respective candidates, knocking on doors, making calls, and driving voter turnout.

A Georgia judge ordered an extension on Friday for counting absentee ballots in Cobb County after officials failed to send out approximately 3,000 mail-in ballots by the required deadline.

This ruling allows ballots to be counted if they arrive by 5 p.m. on Nov. 8, provided they are postmarked by 7 p.m. on Nov. 5.

The delay occurred due to an influx of absentee ballot requests that exceeded Cobb County's processing capacity, with daily requests reaching up to 985 by the final deadline of Oct. 25.

The Cobb County Board of Elections stated that they did not have sufficient resources to meet the increased demand promptly.

Atlanta rapper Young Thug agreed to plead guilty on Thursday in Georgia's longest-running criminal trial, marking the end to a case that began with his 2022 indictment for leading the Young Slime Life (YSL) gang.

The decision came after Fulton County Judge Paige Whitaker asked Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, if he would accept a non-negotiated plea, meaning his punishment would be determined solely by the judge.

The rapper agreed to plead guilty to drug- and gun-related charges and no contest to charges of conspiracy and participating in a street gang.

The judge sentenced him to time served, 15 years of probation, and released him on house arrest Thursday evening.

Young Thug, known for his 2014 hit Stoner, later founded his label, YSL Records, achieving three No. 1 albums on the Billboard chart.
