The Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS) at Maine's Department of Health and Human Services, along with project contractors from the National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA), is creating new training on advanced person-centered practices and approaches tailored specifically for brain injury.
- Have you helped write your own person-centered plan (a plan that describes how you would like to get or keep a good life with brain injury services and support that are important to you)?
- Are you a family member or caregiver for a person with a brain injury who gets support through a person-centered plan?
- Have you been involved with creating person-centered plans for people with brain injury?
- Do you manage or work in a brain injury program that delivers services through person-centered approaches?
If you answered yes to any of the above, you may be interested in providing input on the newly developed products.
If you would like to get involved in a monthly task force or provide input through an interview, focus group, or listening session, please complete the survey (deadline is Friday, May 24th).
