An easy dinner without a lot of trouble, this Beef Chili Verde made in the slow cooker is a great weeknight dinner when you've got a busy schedule. I love to serve it over creamy polenta, but you can put it on buttered noodles or mashed potatoes, too!

Favorite Product of the Week
I recently purchased these Herb Saver Pods to extend the life of the herbs I use for cooking. I've had them about a week and so far I love them. I've used them for chives, green onions, and parsley - though I had to trim down the bunch as the entire thing wouldn't fit. They're supposed to extend the life of the herbs for up to three weeks, and it will be much better for me than leaving them into the plastic bags with a paper towel or in a cup of water on the counter.
They're taller than a milk jug, to I have them either on the top shelf in the fridge or on the top shelf of the door.

Tip of the Week
Looking to make some perfectly rounded cookies?
Place the top of a drinking glass down on the cookie sheet over the cookie while still warm. Using a circular motion, gently swirl the cookie around inside the glass, so its' edges become more uniform.
Voila! A perfectly rounded cookie!
I'd love to hear any tips you have, and what has helped you be more efficient and organized in the kitchen! If you would be interested in sharing them with all of us, and if I choose to share them in our newsletter, I'll give you a first-name shoutout! ❤️
