| Hi there reader, Welcome to Friday Favs! I'm SUPER excited to share 3 of my favorite tools to help you cook with your kids this summer! Everything is easy to find in our TBFS Amazon Storefront! 1. Bread Pans: My kids love to help me make bread! (Probably because they get to punch down the dough, haha) The right bread pans make ALL the difference in successful homemade Whole Wheat Bread! 2. A super fun kids cookbook! 3. Safe knives for toddlers and excellent knives for the grown-ups One of my best tips for baking quality bread is to start with a top-notch bread pan. There's never a sticking problem with these aluminized steel loaf pans. I really can't recommend them enough! The smell of freshly baked bread will always bring me back to my mom's kitchen as a kid.
I don't know if there's anything more delicious than a slice right from the oven with Strawberry Jam.
My kids just love The Complete Cookbook for Young Chefs from America's Test Kitchen! In true ATK fashion, the recipes were tested thoroughly by over 750 kids to get the recipes just right. It's a great way to help kids have fun in the kitchen this summer! Also, the Zyliss knife my girl is holding is by FAR the favorite knife in my kitchen. Everyone fights over it because it is so comfortable to use! And if you have little kitchen helpers, you can rest easy with Tovla's Jr. Knives. They are perfect for little hands and so dang cute!
