| Hello reader With coronation fever hitting the nation, I'm bucking the trend. I'm bringing you a very un-British recipe this week. It's not even Greek. Having said that, I have plenty of party recipes on Tin and Thyme, so if you're celebrating, do take a look around. My recipe is a French one. It's for pesto green beans. It's very simple, but suprisingly delicious for a recipe that has only two ingredients. I use homemade pesto, but you can use whatever type of pesto grabs your fancy. I'm reliably informed that it's very good with potatoes mixed in or pasta or both. You can do the same thing with carrots too. That's another of our regulars. They're very good, though I think well cooked French beans have the edge. If you fancy making something slightly more special for one of the many May bank holidays, how about these mascarpone fruit curd tarts. I've just updated the recipe and I'm now very keen to make some. The pastry shells have a layer of chocolate hidden at the bottom, which adds a special touch. Though they are pretty good without it too.

P.S. Please do let me know if you make any of my recipes and don't forget to star rate them. It really helps to make them more visible on search engines. I especially appreciate questions or feedback via comments on the blog posts. |
