~ First, these ~ I know, I know. It's the first week of the new year, and we're supposed to focus on making amends for all of the indulgences we ate and drank during the holiday season, and throughout homebound pandemic, and every day of our lives until now. But for now, traditionally for the Feast of Epiphany (or any reason at all!), Zalabia: Lebanese glazed donuts that are light, spiced, and fragrant with orange blossom. | | |
| This zalabia is glazed with our flower water syrup. | | |
| Another favorite version: simple sugared, fried dough. | | |
