I've been sharing a lot of recipes that the kids are guaranteed to love lately. SO how about something special for the grown-ups? Today I'm sharing this bourbon toffee cookie recipe!
When you take a bite of these cookies, you'll get a little punch of bourbon, followed by the sweet and nutty flavor of the cookie base. Don't worry- the bourbon isn't overwhelming at all, just incredibly flavorful.
Bourbon Toffee Cookies
It's a great idea to choose a bourbon with a sweeter flavor profile to add a richer, syrupy taste to your cookies as they bake. I'm including a list of my favorite bourbons in this post for you to make choosing one easier. Of course, feel free to use whatever bourbon you have on hand- no need to go out and buy anything special. I hope you enjoy these adult-approved cookies!
