What are the dates?

The 10-day smoothie challenge starts on July 5th and ends on July 14th. I'll be hosting it live in the OYS FB group.

Why smoothies? Why a 10-day challenge?

Well, I've been running Organize Yourself Skinny for over a decade. And I have everything you can need to get you started with healthier eating habits.

But, I always get the question, "where do I start."

In the past, I've directed everyone to the resources I've created, but a lightbulb went off last month when a tired, burnt-out, busy mama said to me, "Everything is just so overwhelming; what's one thing I can do"?

The first thing I thought is change is found in the daily habit. So what is one habit that someone can implement right now to start a healthy lifestyle transformation?

I immediately thought, drink smoothies.

Smoothies were (and still are) such a game-changer for me.

Within a day, of drinking my first smoothie I felt hydrated, focused, and had more energy. Ten years later, I count on a healthy smoothie daily to get me through the day. Not to mention, as a 47-year-old woman, smoothies help me with all kinds of perimenopausal issues. Sorry if that's TMI, but it's true.

Anyway, I thought if the only thing you do is drink a daily smoothie, you'll start to feel amazing and want to layer on more healthy habits. That's what happened to me!

Why a 10-day challenge?

I toyed around with a range of dates, everything from a 7-day to a 30-day. I landed on ten days because I think that's the perfect amount of time to experience the benefits of smoothies but short enough where it's not a struggle to commit.

Of course, I think you'll want to keep going much longer, but you only need to commit to 10 days.

If smoothies aren't your thing, don't worry about it, I plan on doing challenges focusing on other recipes that have significantly impacted my journey. Think mason jar salads, overnight oats, and slow cooker kits!
