This soup comes from my home region of Swabia in southern Germany but you can find it on restaurant menus and in home kitchens throughout the country.

Featuring thinly sliced crepe-like pancakes in a rich beef broth sprinkled with chopped chives, this traditional "comfort soup" brings together simple ingredients to create a truly soul-satisfying soup!

One of the most unique and delicious spice blends you'll ever try!

I can still remember savoring this blend years ago during my study abroad in the Israel. Street carts full of freshly baked bread and mounds of freshly ground dukkah were always a welcome sight.

Originating in Egypt and now popular throughout the Middle East, with its combination of nuts, seeds, spices and herbs, Dukkah is a unique and incredibly delicious seasoning blend.

Easy to make and versatile, enjoy this authentic dukkah as a dip for your bread or veggies, a coating for meat, or sprinkled over your hummus, salads, sandwiches, and more!

Last Week:

Dating back to 9th century Magyar shepherds, Goulash (or gulyás, meaning "herdsmen") is the national dish of Hungary.

Traditional Hungarian goulash is a prime example of how a few simple ingredients, cooked properly, can yield an incredible flavor. Though many variations of Hungarian goulash exist, and every cook makes it just a bit differently, this is an authentic recipe from the heart of Hungary.

This Hungarian goulash has a depth and richness of flavor that is so satisfying it will transport you back to Hungary; if not in body then in mind and tummy! :)
