Assessment of PFAS regulatory options in GB: call for evidence

HSE is opening a call for evidence on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

HSE is working with the Environment Agency on a Regulatory Management Options Analysis (RMOA) that aims to identify the most appropriate regulatory options for managing any risks to human health and the environment from PFAS.

To obtain information to support the analysis, HSE is opening a call for evidence and invites interested parties to respond with information relevant to the manufacture, import, marketing and use of PFAS in GB.

We would also like to know if you are willing to be contacted by HSE and the Environment Agency to discuss information that you have submitted.

The final report will be made available on HSE's website, with publication expected in the summer of 2022.

The call for evidence can be found on HSE's website
