March is flying by and with warmer weather arriving where I am (Boise, Idaho, if you didn't know!) I'm getting so super excited about the change in seasons. I love living somewhere with 4 distinct seasons because I'm always excited and ready for the new one to arrive, and by the time it's over, I'm ready for that too haha.
Spring means garden season, and a change in fresh produce, and and even a change in cooking scenery- as I get outdoors more and start cooking anything and everything on the grill. I can't wait and I've already got so many new recipes in the works for you!
I hope you all have a great weekend. Below you'll find a few recipes that made it onto my own kitchen table this week, and also The Good List, where each Friday I share a few favorite things that are earning their keep around here and worth recommending.
Enjoy and eat something delicious this weekend!

On Our Table This Week
A peek at a few of the real-life recipes we made at home this week, with links if you need ideas!
Garlic Balsamic Flank Steak - I walked by the meat case in my local grocery store and flank steak was 50% off so I threw 2 in my cart immediately. It's one of my favorite cuts. I made one with a Garlic Balsamic Marinade and the other one I developed a brand new recipe, coming at you next week!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars - I think these might be on the list every week haha. Made these to share with friends and neighbors!
Pico de Gallo - We bought some protein sides from Chipotle and I already had fresh tortillas so we made Pico and had the best tacos and quesadillas.
Baked Crispy Chicken Thighs - this is one of my favorites from my childhood. I cut the thighs in pieces almost like strips. Baked on convection so they get suuuuper crispy. 40+ years and still a favorite!
Kale Crunch Salad - I just shared this new recipe last week. It made the perfect side for my crispy chicken.
The Good List is where I share the food, finds, and everyday favorites I'd tell you about if you were sitting at my kitchen counter!
I've been working on several one-dish dinner recipes lately and needed a new 9x13 pan. This one has been working overtime and I love it. It's a great size for things like casseroles and I love that it's a little extra deep and has that terra cotta base that looks so nice on the table. I've been impressed with the quality for the price point!
I've been needing a product like this and didn't know it existed until I found it! These collapsible strainers come with a base that sits on the side of the sink, so as things drip dry, it drains right into to sink. I find myself reaching for these over and over again especially for produce.
These Birkenstocks with the chunky sole have been my favorite go-to every day shoe for spring and summer for the third year going. I do have to clean those white soles often (they come in lots of other options, with black-soles, too!). They look cute with both casual fits and even a dressed up skirt. I've travelled all over the world with them and they're still going strong!
Watching...
You guys always seem to like when I share shows I'm watching! Traitors has been my gym show for a while since it's something that can play and I don't have to pay too much attention. If you like survivor style competition shows, I think it's a fun one. No weird romance or too much reality garbage- just challenges, sabotage and a little mystery. And host Alan Cumming...his wardrobe alone is worth watching for!
Some product links may be affiliate links, which simply means I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them. That said, nothing on The Good List is ever sponsored or part of a brand partnership - these are all things I buy myself and love enough to share with my friends (that's you!)
