Cottage cheese toast was one of those for me. I kept seeing people talk about it, and honestly, I wasn't convinced at first. But one afternoon I gave it a try and it turned out to be one of the easiest things I've made in a while. AND it's healthy. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even for a snack.
Cottage Cheese Toast (Air Fryer)
Just a slice of sourdough, a layer of cottage cheese, and a few toppings depending on what I'm in the mood for.
Some days I keep it savory with tomatoes, avocado, or a drizzle of olive oil.
Other days I go a little bolder. My version lately includes a drizzle of hot honey and some crispy chilli oil. It sounds simple, but that sweet heat with the creamy cottage cheese and crispy toast just works.
A few minutes in the air fryer, and it turns into something warm, crispy, and surprisingly filling.
