The hope for spring in loaf cake form π✨
Hi there!
There's a new treat on the blog today: | Eagle-eyed readers will recognize this recipe from a newsletter swap that I did with Birdhouse Bakeshop about a year ago. Well, with Liz's permission, I'm giving it a permanent place on the blog. It really is my ideal lemon loaf, and the recipe is just right for spring baking.A slice of this is like sunshine. The loaf itself is tender, zesty, nicely sweet, and quite straightforward to make. The glaze is where I go a bit wild.
Cooked and mashed strawberries, tangy sumac, and a hint of earthy tahini make this glaze balanced and honestly a bit mouthwatering! I do include notes for a traditional lemon glaze as well :) | | | | You received this email because you subscribed to our list. You can unsubscribe at any time.
